The newest addition to the shop is an American of Martinsville Credenza and Hutch in wonderful condition.
It is a whopping 7 feet long and believe me extremely heavy.
The hutch can be placed anywhere along the top of the credenza.

You have to love it when you come across a complete set of Adrian Pearsall "Jacks" Coffee tables!!

The trip to Chicago went great besides locking the keys in the van! My dear husband played 2 gigs and we managed to squeeze in a little thrift shopping. We came home with a stuffed cargo van and survived without air conditioning but it was HOT HOT HOT!! I did pick up a little something for my house though. I found a Kent Coffey Perspecta long dresser/credenza and tall chest that we are going to use as a liquor cabinet in the dining room. I will post some pictures soon!

Here are a few of my other nice finds this week. . .

Green Vinyl Lounge Chairs (I actually have 4)

Tulip Chairs - I have never seen any quite like this before - Unfortunately one has a crack

Kroehler Bucket / Tub Chairs - Gone!

Let's Get Started!!

So here I am someone who has never blogged before and never thought that I would. But I thought this might be a great way to share some of the terrific vintage treasures that I have been finding. Some of the things I keep and some I re-sell to others who appreciate them as much as I do. My favorite place to find treasures (shop) is at auctions plus I go to all the local garage sales and estate sales. The beautiful Mid Century pieces just keep finding me! I am going to try to take lots of pictures to share with you of the things I acquire and the places I go. Most of the things you will see are for sale - sometimes even the things in my house. Since I started on this adventure I have already changed my dining room table a couple of times. I can't help it I just keeping locating great pieces I like better than what I already have. Soon I will take some pictures of my house to share with you but to get started here are a few of my recent finds.
